Position Information:
The Buyer is responsible for expediting and placing stock and non-stock orders following up with customers handling emergencies complaints returns credits and pricing discrepancies. Manages multiple duties while working suppliers visitors and customers. Responsible for procuring and expediting in excess of $100 million of WakeMed's stock and non-stock operating budget.
Experience Requirements:
2 Years Supply Ordering and Expediting And Customer Service In Healthcare Preferred
Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And Associate's Degree Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Certified Supply Chain Professional Or Certified Materials & Resource Professional Or Certified Professional in Supply Management Preferred
Hours of Work:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Weekend Requirements:
As Needed
