Buyer/Subcontracts Administrator

The Subcontract Buyer role within the Supply Chain Management organization is responsible for overall supply chain management of a diverse portfolio of programs and is accountable to both programs as well as directly to the Supply Chain Management organization. The Subcontract Buyer will be a key role in managing an array of contracts for the organization across a variety of sub systems as part of aircraft development. The ideal candidate will have strong subcontracting experience including development of RFP's, background with complex statements of work (SOW's), and evaluation and selection of criteria. This is a virtual position.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in business, supply chain or equivalent work experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management.
Overall 5-7 years experience in Supply Chain Management in Aerospace.
3+ years experience as Subcontract Administrator/Buyer.
Subcontract experience to include development of RFPs, complex statements of work, evaluation criteria, and source selection criteria.
Knowledge of compliance acquisition procedures and FAR/DFAR requirements.
International subcontract experience with working knowledge of import/export compliance and ITAR regulations.
Must be a U.S. Person.

10+ years of experience as a Buyer or subcontract administrator
