C++ Software Developer (TS/SCI)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking Software Developers (C++/Java) to support a proprietary Geospatial Intelligence program in San Diego, CA. The team is seeking developers skilled with software design, architecture, and development experience to support a geospatial imagery library for a critical agency.

Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance

Location: San Diego, CA (hybrid, remote 2x/week)

Responsibilities of the Software Developer:
• Develop new software architecture and maintain current ecosystem for a variety of applications
• Develop new software using Java and C++ languages
• Work towards automating the development process using DevSecOps CI/CD
• Evaluate and research new technologies and provide recommendations
• Engage constructively with peers and technical leads to communicate the technical approach, trade-offs, and technical decisions

Qualifications of the Software Developer:

• Active TS/SCI clearance required
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 7+ years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with software architecture, design, and development using Java and C++
• Experience with cloud based technologies and environments (AWS/Azure)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps development process (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Java Spring Boot Micro Service development

Compensation of the Software Developer:

• Total compensation based on experience level - $150,000 - $200,000+ based on experience level
