Cable Technician

We are looking for a Cable Technician to join one of Insight Globals partners in the security industry. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get their foot in the door at a reputable security company. In this position, you will be responsible for working side by side with a Journeyman electrician and learning the security/access control industry. Each day will begin with a morning team meeting to outline the days goals. Following this meeting, you will drive out into the field with your Journeyman. Daily responsibilities will involve running cables/pulling cables from poles to buildings, installing CCTV, access control systems, cameras, and locks in commercial buildings.
As part of this role, you will start a three-year apprenticeship program to receive your Journeyman certification. During this apprenticeship, from August to December, you will have classes twice a week. This role pays $23/hr.
