Position summary:
Perform all CAD system data transfer for Tier 1 plants and suppliers. Communication to the appropriate stakeholders . Perform OMS document registration and drawing release. Generate POs for license purchases.
Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience:
Associate degree or technical education in an engineering related field 2+ years experience with Catia V5 or equivalent
3 years experience in technical engineering data management experience Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent Written and verbal communication skills Detail Oriented
Be able to multi-task and maintain professional demeanor in a fast-pace environment

Good comprehension of communication tools (MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
Understand project development schedule
Ability to use schedule effectively to create timeline to ensure complete works on time
Communicate with customers and plant and distribute drawing, Bill of Material and Engineering change documents cross the stakeholders
Manage internal and external drawings, Specification, Parts List, Feature, PON sheet, DFMEA, MP Transfer Document in Data Management System
Accurately perform drawing release in Data Management System
Monitor and investigate design change on internal/external Drawing Change Report Monitor drawings released from head office in Data Management System and re-release to related stakeholders
Monitor and update internal drawing release schedules and reporting release performance Troubleshoot data concerns
Perform data transfer; auto web, customer specific drawing exchange system, FTP as a backup
Check and compare 2D CAD drawings and 3D models to identify changes efficiently. Distribute HES release notifications across stakeholders
Support Design and CAE software/hardware management Utilize AP Advance Invoice Automation system
Process POs and Invoices
changes and process optimization DTR system supplier record for continuous improvement Keep record of all hours (personal and project) and overtime
Work on annual project per section manager request
Reporting to this position: No Direct Reports No Indirect Reports
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Environmental conditions - Open office environment. May be exposed to moderate noise levels.
Vocal Communication - Required to express or exchange ideas by means of concise (clear, correct and timely) discussion with coworkers, customers, suppliers, etc.
Hearing Perception - Ability to recognize information at normal spoken levels and/or ability to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or make fine distinctions in sound.
Sensory Utilization - Prepare and analyze written or computer data.
Physical Activities - Required to stand, walk and sit, as well as using hands to pick up, handle or feel objects. May occasionally reach with hands and arms. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted .
