Insight Global is searching for a Plant Layout CAD Drafter for an automotive customer in Arlington, TX. This person will be responsible for partnering with other teams cross-functionally across the plant floor to help create and develop plant floor/material layouts while using AutoCAD. This person will help to draft then pass off to teams for execution. The ideal candidate will have vast experience working in an automotive plant environment and supporting general assembly, body, body structures, paint, and material handling.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering + manufacturing launch

Experience with AutoCAD

Experience with creating/directing plant layouts/material layouts with using AutoCAD

Working cross-functionally with teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
