Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a multi-line phone system.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments for various ophthalmology services.
- Enter and review patient demographic and insurance info.
- Handle patient inquiries and coordinate with insurance representatives.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure call quality.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of medical appointment scheduling experience (ophthalmology preferred).
- Remote phone experience preferred.
- Must own a laptop and have knowledge of Windows-based programs.
- Flexibility for occasional travel to offices and clinics.
Important Information:
- Training: Initial 3 months onsite, with mileage reimbursement (62.5 cents/mile).
- Equipment: Personal laptop required.
- Dress Code: Scrubs or business professional attire for training.
