Position Title (Classification Title): Camp Instructor - Pool Posting, Other Professional (Support/Service) Working Title: Explore Camp Instructor Job Summary: UWF Explore Camps is an academic-based camp program offering a variety of summer camp themes each week from Explore Hogwarts to LEGO Robotics. Camp instructors to deliver hands-on, educational experiences to youth in grades 1st-12th. Camp instructors are under contract per camp week and can work various weeks over spring and summer breaks.

Instructor Job Duties Include:
Prepare and implement daily camp activities for a group of up to 20 campers.
Supervise and assign tasks to camp assistants assigned to the camp room.
Ensure inclusion of all campers in daily activities.
Establish a positive relationship with other staff, parents, and participants. Provide parents, instructors, or camp leadership with feedback on campers as needed.
Ensure the safety and well-being of participants by being aware of participant locations at all times, sharing and enforcing appropriate safety regulations and procedures, and identifying and responding to camper behavior issues.
Maintain accurate program records including incident reports and daily attendance. Department Conferences & Continuing Education FLSA: Non-Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Experience as a lead educator in a classroom setting. Position Qualifications: Bachelors degree in education or other appropriate area of specialization from an accredited institution. Special Requirements or Considerations of the Job:
