Seeking a Managing Consultant with an Engineering mindset having prior experience in realizing Digital Engineering to be a part of the Intelligent Industry team. You will be part of a dynamic team working to accelerate Digital Transformation efforts for our clients.
Digital Continuity Team
Capgemini's Digital Continuity team helps clients transform its Engineering & R&D capabilities. We help to connect dots across the broader organization value chain including sale/marketing, R&D, Engineering, manufacturing, operations and aftersales to drive efficiency, improve flexibility, and increase responsiveness through proactive insights and decision-making. A valued driven approach, we advise and manage transformational solutions for our clients. We provide the consulting to strategize, plan and execute on digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific solutions. Our key offerings include S/W driven transformation, Digital Continuity across the organization and R&D transformation.
Role Expectations:
• 7+ years' experience
• Experience in delivering transformation programs within Engineering, R&D, or Manufacturing for Medical Device, Manufacturing, Automotive, A&D or CPG industry
• Strong understanding of the value driven by MBE, PLM, MBSE solutions/approach
• Very strong understanding of the PLM processes across multiple industries
• Delivery experience around model-based engineering, model-based enterprise, digital twins, digital thread areas
• Ability to independently deliver on engineering transformation projects
• Manage the execution of programs and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and meeting customer requirements
• Assess and manage risks associated with projects and operations, implementing risk mitigation strategies ensuring compliance
• Other skills include management and mentoring of junior consultants, administration of project work plans and processes
• Ability to travel 50% on average including being onsite at client locations as needed
• Support new business opportunities including preparing proposals, presentations, and pursuing contracts
• Passion to drive innovation in products and technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements
• Experience with the following suite of digital engineering tools preferred: Siemens NX & Teamcenter, PTC Creo & Windchill, 3DX & Catia, Cameo, Capella on AWS/Azure
• Good understanding of ERP, MES, CRM systems and its relevance to the industrial digital threads
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
