Job description

Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst in Capital Markets Domain with Custody experience. As a Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA / Quincy, MA or be willing to relocate to the area.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Experience as a BA with custody knowledge and experience in the capital markets.
• Quantitative and Qualitative analytical skills with the ability to translate business data analysis into actionable task, which requires technical skills like Java and domain skills of Capital Market in Employee stock options, employee trading etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 6 years of hands-on experience as a BA with custody knowledge and experience in the capital markets.
• Work with custody teams, including custodians, fund administrators, and asset managers, to gather detailed requirements related to asset servicing, safekeeping, and settlement.
• Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and process flows that accurately capture the needs of custody operations.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current custody processes and desired outcomes, proposing solutions to address these gaps.
• Ensure that processes related to the safekeeping of assets are efficient, compliant, and accurately documented.
• Delivery Focus: Ability to deliver results in a techno-functional role.
• SQL Programming: Proficiency in SQL programming.
• Programming Languages: Experience with Java
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Capital Markets Knowledge: Deep understanding of Capital Markets inc. Employee stock options, employee trading etc.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify risks and issues and propose improvements.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
