Responsibilities :
  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Recognizes the patients, their family/designated care partner(s) in providing safe, compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for patient's personal preferences, priorities, needs, and cultural beliefs and values.
  • Minimizes risk of harm to patients and others by following established nursing practices and protocols and individual performance.
  • Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support ethical decision making.
  • Continuously and attentively monitors patients' cardiac rhythms and pulse oximetry, accurately interpreting and communicating baseline variations to Registered Nurse.
  • Collects data and documents interpreted rhythms and significant events during shift. Completes required reporting.
  • Maintains equipment and assists with application, return, and troubleshooting, escalating according to established procedures if necessary.


Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Telemetry Experience or Cardiac Monitor Experience Required
  • Arrhythmia Certification Preferred
