The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked #14 in the United States, the No. 1 hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and the No. 2 hospital in Texas for Cardiology and Heart Surgery by U.S. News and World Report, is seeking an outstanding cardiologist with Cardio-Oncology training and experience. Candidate will be superior in all aspects of Cardiology and Cardio-Oncology care, and capable of teaching Cardiology fellows, Internal Medicine residents, and medical students through didactic lectures and participation in various multidisciplinary conferences. Recent Cardio-Oncology fellowship graduates are welcome to apply. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. Applicants should meet these qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas
Cardiology Division, Facilities & Equipment:
  • Nationally recognized Cardiology Division with more than 100 faculty members that fosters a collegial and collaborative environment with a focus on faculty career development. Four Cardio-Oncology Cardiologists are currently on faculty.
  • William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital is a state-of-the art facility that is visually appealing, incorporates advanced technology, and was designed for patient comfort and well-being and to enhance multidisciplinary collaboration.
