You Will Be Responsible For:

Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth's core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork.
  • Schedules cases on a first come/first serve basis allowing for emergencies; answers the phone promptly and accurately routes messages; orders office supplies; uses computer system to obtain patient information.
  • Assists all staff, physicians, patients and visitors with a caring concerned attitude.
  • Assists as necessary in training of new employees if requested. Assists supervisor with record keeping, statistics, data etc. as requested.
  • Visually determines status of procedure; hears and answers telephone; Adjusts priorities frequently.
  • Conveys information accurately; communicates effectively, frequently and in a positive manner with office staff, department staff, physicians and visitors. Recognizes the need and communicates with visitors, providing them with accurate information and assistance.

  • Strong organizational skills. Able to multitask.

  • Ability to maintain a legible and current patient log/schedule

Job Summary:

The Case Flow Coordinator is responsible for the Invasive/Non-Invasive Lab schedules. Coordinates, plans, organizes, and controls the daily quantity of cases. The coordinator serves as liaison between physicians, office staff, supervisors and director. The coordinator anticipates lab turnover, answers telephones, conveys information accurately in a highly hectic atmosphere and understands the departments' capacity for the amount of cases that can be completed during working hours. He or she understands the complexity and time demands of various types of cases to schedule appropriately. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibilities in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Seeks out supervisor or schedule coordinator to resolve or prevent problems with the schedule.

A four-week notice is required for resignation/transfer, as well as any change in employment status resulting in decreased hours worked.
