Undergraduate degree and at least two years outreach experience in a higher education setting
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Preferred qualifications include a demonstrated interest in the student affairs vision and a demonstrated interest in university health and wellbeing initiatives. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to articulate an understanding of the intersections between case management; wrap-around supportive services to students in crisis; and outreach programming, for addressing any of the dimensions of health and wellbeing.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will serve as a member of the Center for Integrated Care's team and will work cross-departmentally with other constituents on campus and with stakeholders in the broader Charlotte region. July 1st, 2024 and will end on September 30th, 2024. Responsibilities include: student-facing psycho-education about campus and community resources, follow-up with students seeking campus resources and accommodations, general linkage and referral to campus and community supports; consultation with faculty, staff, students, parents, and others; and outreach and educational programming to the campus and local community.

*Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker's Compensation provisions.
However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions, or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. If they average 30 or more hours per week over a designated measurement period, they will be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, and will be notified of instructions.
