This position is responsible for assisting in the supervision and administration of food and beverage activities at the Hershey Country Club. Primary job responsibilities for this position include Food and Beverage operational oversight of Splashes poolside concessions, beverage cart and beverage barrel service, and providing support for snack huts. This role will also assist with Hogan Grill Operations and Catering Events. This opportunity is on-site in Hershey, PA and is being offered for the Fall/Winter timeframe. Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Daily oversight and supervision of front of house staff and wait staff
• Daily support and financial settlement of beverage cart operations
• Coordination and execution of beverage barrel service in support of corporate golf outings and member events
• Support the planning, preparation and execution of member social events
• Assist and support Hogan Grille operations
• Provide supervisory support to snack hut operations

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must be actively enrolled in a College/University and Majoring/Minoring in the Hospitality & Tourism, Food & Beverage, Travel & Tourism or related field (Marketing, Communications, Business majors accepted)
• Students Graduating college/university after Spring of 2024 will be considered
• Post-employment: Must obtain RAMP Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong customer service skills
• Proven leadership skills with an understanding of conflict resolution and problem solving
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
• Abide by appearance standards and be able to maintain hospitality standards for the assigned property
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Keyboarding skills and computer literacy

Job Demands:

• This position will include driving company vehicles and/or golf carts
• This is a Fall internship opportunity. Scheduling can be flexible based on the class schedule of the student, but should be available for at least 2 weekends per month.
• Flexible work environment requires adaptability to demanding/fast pace, noise, and various weather conditions
