Overview

Catering Server is responsible for serving food and beverage products to Preferred guests in the venue during events. Ensures quality of food presentation. Must be familiar with and follow all state and company alcohol service policies. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This position for is the Pacific Amphitheatre

This role will pay an hourly wage of $16 to $18.00.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for serving food and beverage products to Preferred guests in the venue during events.
• Responsible for serving meals to guests or directing guests to the buffet line.
• Responsible for refilling salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiments and napkins.
• Responsible for replacing tableware and linens as necessary.
• Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests.
• Recommends certain menu items and identifies ingredients or explains how various items on the menu are prepared.
• Assists in setting up functions including linens, dishware, glassware and silverware.
• Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
• Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 or over
• Three or more months' experience in food service industry preferred
• Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
