Job Description

Prepare test data, test scenarios, and complete test execution per user story requirements. Analyze large sets of data in a production environment for validations. Create functional flow diagrams to explain functionality. Support integration testing efforts and participate in SDLC. Provide on-call support to the application monitoring team.

Experience Required:
1. High aptitude for problem solving and experience with identifying issues and quickly acting to determine a solution/escalate if needed
2. Knowledge of big data: Kafka, Cassandra, Databricks
3. Experience with relational databases and software/backend testing processes for a big data/analytics app
5. Experience navigating Unix and managing files for test data and error logs
6. Ability to navigate XML, JSON, flat and delimited files
7. Support a production environment during non-business hours (if needed)
8. Write test cases based on Acceptance Criteria and execute against defined test scenarios
9. Able to work independently

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in Structured Query Language (SQL)
