FARHA ROOFING, an award-winning roofing company with locations in Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Florida, and Arizona, has an excellent career opportunity in Durango, CO, for a CDL Driver with three years of experience delivering Roofing or Construction Materials.

Our ideal candidate would have CDL Driving experience delivering roofing or construction materials.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

The driver's primary duty is to deliver roofing building materials to a job site. Drivers operate primarily within a 200-mile radius, with some minimal overnight travel.

Safely drive a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations.

• Operate all equipment by local, state, and federal laws.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections.
• Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck by comparing purchase orders, signing off on delivery tickets, confirming addresses on delivery tickets, and ensuring that routing information is obtained before leaving the branch.
• Conduct a job site inspection and document any damage to lawn, landscaping, or driveway and the location of any power lines, sprinklers, septic tanks, mailboxes, fences, etc.
• Capture pictures of all building products delivered by Company Policy.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL), also Airbrake and (Preferred)Hazmat endorsement.
• Must Pass CDL Driver requirements - Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test required by FMCSA
• Ability to load and unload building products that weigh up to 100 lbs. each off of a straight bed truck continuously. Prior experience operating a forklift.
• Must be a safe driver with no hit & runs or DWI or DUI convictions within the last three years.
• Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations.
• Clean and Professional Appearance
• Minimum education - High School Diploma
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English; proficiency in using tablet, Laptop, or device to log Truck Travel and delivery data.
