The Driver will be responsible for safe and timely transportation of Mobile Unit from the designated Children's sites to the designated treatment sites. Transportation includes the pick-up and delivery of staff and supplies. Completion of pre-trip and post-trip checklists. The driver will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle and its specialty systems at the storage location. Schedule and complete routine preventive vehicle maintenance as well as service as needed. Maintain the vehicle maintenance, fuel, service and travel logs as well as respond to security and emergency situations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Minimum Work Experience
3 years Related experience (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge
Basic vehicle maintenance and operation
Basic computer skills
Must possess excellent oral and communication skills and exemplary customer service
Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Required Licenses and Certifications
Class A CDL with endorsement to include large buses with air brakes (Required)

Functional Accountabilities
Vehicle Transport and Maintenance
  • Transport staff to and from Children's designated sites to treatment sites.
  • Prepare Mobile Unit for departure to and from sites including completion of pre-trip and post-trip check lists.
  • Ensure staff and vehicle safety at sites
  • Ensure Mobile Unit receives mechanical services and preventive maintenance as needed.
  • Responsible for minor maintenance of the Mobile Unit up keep and general mechanical service for the unit, including refueling. water tank filling, dumping and disinfecting, checking fluids, and vehicle systems assessments.
  • Maintain Mobile Unit logs (i.e. maintenance, service, fuel, miles, etc.)
Supplies
  • Transfer supplies between Mobile Unit and office.
  • Assist with loading and unloading supplies onto Mobile Unit.
Non-Essential Function
  • Available for work as assigned.
