THE POSITION

The Bureau of Driver Licensing is currently seeking a CDL Field Auditor to perform field work, which involves carrying out both covert and overt audits on different CDL Third-Party Testers and Examiners within a specific geographical region of the state. This is a great opportunity to make a difference and ensure that all CDL testing is conducted fairly and accurately. Don't miss out on this chance to apply and be a part of this important work!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The primary role in this position involves monitoring the performance of CDL Third-Party Testers and Examiners within a specific geographic area. This is done through the utilization of the CSTIMS application to identify trends, patterns, and other relevant data. In addition to this, covert and overt audit activities are conducted to ensure compliance with regulations and contract terms. The responsibilities also include keeping track of audit details for all CDL Third-Party Testers and their examiners within the assigned area. The information gathered during audits is then reported to the CDL Third-Party Compliance Manager for further review and action if necessary. Field audits are conducted to verify compliance with testing laws and regulations, as well as contract terms. Any minor concerns identified during the audit are addressed with the tester/examiner on the spot and documented for future reference. More significant issues are escalated to the CDL Third-Party Compliance Manager for a thorough investigation. After each audit, detailed reports are prepared and sent to the CDL Third-Party Compliance Manager. These reports include any actions taken during the audit and recommendations for additional steps that may be required to ensure compliance. Furthermore, this position involves investigating customer complaints against CDL Third-Party testers and examiners within the designated geographical area. Any necessary actions are taken based on the findings of the investigation to address the complaints effectively. Lastly, the role includes participating in Administrative Meetings with examiners and testers. A report of the findings and recommendations from these meetings is submitted to the CDL Third-Party Compliance Manager for final review and decision-making.
