Shift : Monday - Friday - 6:30am - 3:00pm

The role you'll contribute:

The Central Processor functions as a member of the support team for the hospital. He/she is responsible for the decontamination and sterilization of instrumentation and equipment used in providing direct patient care. The Central Processor is cross-trained to assume all responsibilities within the scope of the Central Processing Department.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Accurately assemble instrument trays.

• Sterilize instruments.

• Return sterile instruments to their proper location.

• Stock patient care equipment.

• Ability to operate Steam Sterilizers

• Ability to operate Washer Disinfector
  • Accurately read and document Biological results


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • High School Diploma
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Certification preferred
  • Certification obtained through IAHCSMM or CBSPD - obtained within 1 year of employment.- Preferred
