Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital in Tomahawk, WI is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team!

HOURS: Full-time or 1.0 FTE; Day Shift; 80 hours Bi-Weekly

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the delivery of outpatient clinic health care
• Answer phones, returning phone calls, crisis triage
• Paperwork processing for schools, human services, etc.
• Prior authorizations of medications
• Rooming patients
• Maintaining clinical records and documentation

Experience/Qualification/Licensure:

• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from an accredited MA program or five years' equivalence in medical assistant experience.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration REQUIRED or obtained within 6 months of hire
• Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - REQUIRED

Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital in Tomahawk provides primary and specialty services to Tomahawk and rural Lincoln County through a 25-bed critical access hospital.
