Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican (dhmf.org/dominican) is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our physician led, patient centered organization in Santa Cruz, CA, offering you flexibility and collegiality in a friendly environment. Compensation/Benefits Include:
  • Compensation: $160,046 / year

Responsibilities

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Treatment Planning and Management:
  • Develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies.
  • Provide health promotion and disease prevention education.
Collaboration and Consultation:
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Consult with physicians and specialists as needed.
  • Coordinate patient care across various settings.
Qualifications
  • A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
  • Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
  • Completion of state mandated educational courses
  • 24 hour In House call at hospital
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
Pay Range
$76.94 - $76.94/hour
