Seeking a licensed midwife or NP to care for the health needs of women throughout their life span. The licensed midwife/ NP provides well woman health care including: gynecologic and care during pregnancy and childbirth.Provides well woman healthcare across the lifespan including gynecologic and obstetric care.

Certified Nurse Midwife Hiring range: $103,994-$132,160

OBGYN Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant Hiring range: $94,574-$122,571

Offer rates are based on experience. Offer rates at the higher end of the range are only for applicants with many years of experience

Responsibilities:

• Annual exams including gynecological care, health screening and counseling with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention
• History and physical examinations
• Family planning and Pre-conception counseling
• Well woman and adolescent gynecological care
• Perimenopausal and postmenopausal counseling and care
• Comprehensive maternity care including prenatal, labor, delivery & postpartum care
• Hospital consults, rounds and discharge
• Obstetric and gynecologic screening procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of common health problems
• Public education activities
• Referral to specialists

Required credentials:

New York State licensed Midwife or NYS licensed Nurse Practitioner with significant OB/GYN experience
