Additional Position Details:FTE: 0.300000 |Part Time|Swing and Night Shifts | Thursday nights

As a CNA-2 at Asante, you will earn the following shift differentials:
  • $1.21 extra per hour for hours worked between 3:00pm-11:00pm
  • $2.05 extra per hour for hours worked between 11:00pm-7:00am
  • $1.05 extra per hour for hours worked on weekend shifts

The EFR unit (Extended Floor Recovery) will be a new department of the hospital designed primarily for surgical outpatients who are expected to stay longer than the typical Short Stay patient. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment for patients to recover from surgery and observe for any post-surgical complications. We will also provide comprehensive post-operative education so patients feel confident in their recovery at home.

Qualifications
Education
  • CNA 2 course completion
Experience
  • 1 year of caring for patients in an Acute care setting, or at least 2 years of patient care experience in a Skilled Nursing Care facility, is required
Licensure/Certifications:
  • CNA-2 Certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
  • Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis - such as transferring a patient in and out of a bed. The ability to bend, stretch, twist and perform other awkward physical movements is also required.
