For the Asante Outpatient Center, the schedule would be day shifts/Monday - Friday with no weekends or major holidays.

TheAsante Outpatient Centeris a state-of-the-art clinic designed to consolidate specialty services. This environmentally sustainable facility includes orthopedic and sports medicine, general and colorectal surgery, urology, rehabilitation, laboratory, cardiopulmonary, X-ray, urgent care, and the outpatient surgery and endoscopy center. The outpatient surgery/endoscopy center provides care for those needing surgical services that do not require an overnight stay in the hospital. Types of surgeries/procedures provided at this location include endoscopies, general, orthopedic, gynecology, and ear, nose and throat procedures.

Certified Nursing Assistant Opportunity Overview
What You'll Do
  • Work with an excellent team of physicians, nurses, and technicians to provide optimal patient centered care
  • Promote patient safety and comfort
  • Provide excellent communication between staff and patients and patient families
  • Have the opportunity to cross-train as an Endoscopy Technician, assisting physicians with endoscopy procedures
  • Welcome, screen and escort patients to their rooms
  • Support the RNs in their pre and post op care of the patient, including ambulating and toileting patients, and assisting them with discharge
  • Take vital signs, blood sugars, and bring refreshments to patients in recovery
  • Answer phones, turn over rooms, and take ownership of the cleanliness and functionality of the unit

What You Must Have
  • CNA-2 certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
Working Environment/Physical Requirements
  • This position requires the ability to lift up to50 pounds on an occasional basis - such as transferring a patient in and out of a bed. The ability to bend, stretch, twist and perform other awkward physical movements is also required
