Home Hardware Center is looking for an experienced Certified STIHL equipment salesperson and technician to build our business in the Gramercy, LA location.

The successful candidate will have the ability to show consumers how to properly use a wide variety of STIHL equipment, be mechanically inclined and have experience in small engine repair and equipment maintenance. Must have Silver Certification from Stihl.

Position Description

General Responsibilities

• Experience explaining, demonstrating and selling STIHL brand and other garden equipment
• Experience ordering and looking up parts
• Inventory management
• Knowledge of chainsaws and power equipment
• Problem Solver

Physical Requirements:

• Must have no mobility issues and be able to lift heavy objects including chainsaws and generators
• Must have close vision and ability to identify colors

Experience

• Min 2 years related experience
• Forklift Driver Certified Preferred
• Clean Driving Record
