Make a difference
The Certified Surgical Technologist at Community Hospital North Family Rooms OR will be responsible for providing aid in exposure hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. Will perform preoperative and postoperative duties to better facilitate proper patient care. Will perform functions during the operation under the direction and supervision of the surgeon. Will provide patient care to maternity patients. Assist with stocking and inventory management.

Your exceptional skills and qualifications
The Certified Surgical Technologist will possess strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills. Will demonstrate ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task. Will be able to take direction well but also be self directed and motivated. Will possess a high degree of responsibility, responsiveness.

- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program preferred.

- Minimum of 1-3 years scrubbing experience required

- Maternity experience a plus.

- Certified Surgical Technologist required within 6 months of hire.
