CFO

Insight Global is currently hiring a CFO to join the team of our client who is a leading blockchain gaming platform. Our client allows players to earn cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) through gameplay with a presence all throughout the world. We are seeking a business-savvy, hands-on CFO with solid finance and strategy skills and hands-on experience in corporate and professional services with a start-up mentality. This CFO will be a leader within the crypto entity, external relationships, and forecasting/planning. This executive leader will successfully be responsible for corporate development, M&A, corporate financing, strategic planning, revenue planning, FP&A, P&L responsibility, budgeting, and ERP System and IT oversight. This role presents the opportunity to work with multiple teams across Gala, such as product, engineering, operations, treasury, finance, compliance, and legal. Responsibilities for this individual will include:

*Partner with the Leadership team on financial operational, product, and strategic decisions as the Finance leader for the entity

*Manage financial reporting, accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax reporting, treasury/cash management functions quarterly/annual planning and assessment of
critical metrics and risks

*Partner with Leadership and Product teams in support of new crypto products and initiatives.

*Partner with blockchain operations on monitoring, forecasting/planning, SOPs, and crypto liquidity.

*Execute corporate and capital market transactions, including lines of credit and other
partnerships

The salary expectation for this position is $400-$600k.

Required Skills & Experience

*15+ years of experience in Treasury, Banking, Corporate Finance, or related financial services field, with demonstrated leadership experience in the crypto space

*Strong crypto experience and enthusiastic for the space and product

*Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field

*Ability and comfortable working independently across cross-functional internal teams and external relationships, and the ability to project manage large-scale projects

*Prior banking relationship management experience with a solid working knowledge of crypto banking products and services

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

*Strong interest in fintech and knowledge of the industry

*Passion for games and entertainment
