The Chair Car Driver will provide safe, time-bound transportation services to ambulatory, and wheelchair bound clients to and from medical appointments. Provide concierge service to various clientele from various locations and facilities. Operate special equipment. Establish positive relationships with patient and the patient's family.

Responsibilities

  • The Chair Car Driver will ensure documentation is completed per established guidelines and timeframes.
  • Vehicle readiness and stock levels are maintained per department standards.
  • The Chair Car Driver will perform equipment inspection is completed to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • The Chair Car Driver will ensure safety awareness is maintained and unusual occurrences reported per established guidelines.
  • Company vehicles are operated in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Additional department, organization, or network activities are completed per established objectives.
  • PCC Organizational Values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence are upheld.


Skills

  • Computer proficiency required. Microsoft office applications preferred with ability to learn new software.
  • Maintain variable work schedule to provide patient care as needed. (Evenings, holidays, weekends and travel).
  • Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse population.
  • Work independently, be self-directed and contribute as a member of a team.
  • Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
  • High level of service delivery. Demonstrate initiative with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations.
  • Attention to detail.


Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications (All licenses and certifications must be current.)

  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license with no current moving violations.
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
