Job Summary

The Channel Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in the larger Sales Enablement team led by the Channel and Sales Enablement Marketing Manager. This team is responsible for brand activation, lead generation, customer retention, brand messaging consistency, and sales enablement tools supporting and enabling a national field sales team, builder, and our channel customer. The Channel Marketing Specialist will be directly responsible for the industry leading and HEW-owned proprietary traveling in-person mobile marketing program, Prove It Tour™. This person will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day logistics and operations and working closely with the Channel and Sales Enablement Manager to guide strategy, communications, and reporting. This program aims to promote the trial and adoption of HEW products within its core brands, AdvanTech ® subfloor assembly and ZIP System ® sheathing and tape, through live, hands-on education. The management of this program requires keen logistical skills and the ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently. In addition, this role will coordinate a variety of sales enablement tools servicing the field sales team, including HEW internal-facing "Co-store" (literature, samples, swag distribution), Sales Enablement software, and helping with unique Channel Support opportunities.

Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Experiential Marketing
  • Coordination of the Prove It Tour™ program consisting of multiple trucks and trailers, handling all scheduling, logistics, staffing, and communications.
  • Act as the key point of contact for the mobile marketing vendor agency, collaborating on all scheduling, logistics, vehicle maintenance, DOT regulations, and annual inspections.
  • Maintain mobile marketing budget, manage open activation windows, winter maintenance, sample, literature, and giveaway inventory for mobile team.
  • Manage the Salesforce.com dashboard, "event request" form, campaign management, and data entry metrics, working with Salesforce IT support to change and improve the CRM interface as needed to support the key functionalities of the program fully.
  • Work closely with field sales reps and hosting customers to ensure all event promotions and logistics are successfully communicated to all appropriate parties.
  • Collaborate with Product Brand Teams to ensure key product messages and selling points are effectively communicated during mobile marketing events.
  • Actively participate in developing new product demos, signage, and other messaging tools
  • Enact attendance driving initiatives for events, working closely with applicable HEW field sales rep to deploy print & digital advertising, direct mail & email campaigns, preshow meetings.
  • Travel with mobile marketing program periodically to evaluate current program execution.
  • Most importantly prioritize safety and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring agency partners and drivers adhere to all safety protocols and monitor vehicle performance regularly.

Sales Enablement Tools & Event Support
  • Act as contact for HEW internal facing "co-store" with the Marketing Manager.
  • Field requests from the HEW sales team for new or depleted inventory items and samples.
  • Assist with internal Sales Enablement tools, ensuring all documents are up to date
  • Collaborate with Channel and Sales Enablement Manager and Field Sales to find unique ways to support our Channel and Home Center Customers through impactful promotions, in-person events.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in event marketing, mobile marketing, or related.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.). and CRM applications are ideal.
  • Must be organized with keen attention to detail and timeliness to help manage a nationwide program.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to clearly, concisely and effectively communicate - written/oral - with all functional departments and supporting agencies.
