This will be for our community hospice program as well as at our Inpatient Hospice House

Your Role:

MaineHealth Care at Home | MaineHealth is looking for a Chaplain. The Chaplain role provides and coordinates all spiritual care services by providing spiritual care assessment and spiritual/emotional care interventions and support.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's level Degree in Theology, or a Master's Degree in Counseling or Divinity required. 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required. 4 units of CPE preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Currently licensed and/or ordained within a recognized faith community required. Board Certification by the APC, NACC, NAJC, CAPPE, or SCA preferred. Valid Driver's License required.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in the provision of professional ministry or chaplaincy required. Experience working with patients/families dealing with life-threatening illness and death required.
