Responsibilities

Position Summary:

In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Staff Chaplain is a professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for providing pastoral care for patients, their families and facility staff. The Chaplain also works with the community.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Successful completion of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education is required.
• Graduate of high school or equivalency.

Preferred:

• Eligible for professional chaplain certification within two years preferred. Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience preferred.
