Responsibilities

The Charge Nurse-Telemetry has the leadership skills, authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. They are an extension of the leadership team (director, manager, nursing supervisor, clinical preceptor, and/or house supervisor) and must conduct themselves as such.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required,
• Minimum of 1+ years' experience as an RN in a hospital PACU or Critical Care Unit
• Current valid NJ State professional Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment)
• PALS (obtainable within the first three months of employment)
• Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Training

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
