Earn $3,000 sign on bonus if hired for this role The Chemical Operator will be responsible for performing the daily production duties of the assigned production area along with the other Operators of the production team. This position will assure optimum operation of equipment by maintaining full compliance with operating instructions and company policies and procedures as well as assuring the safe and environmentally compliant operation of the production processes. This is an onsite 12-hour rotating swing shift with occasional overtime located in Martin, SC. Job duties include:Participating in process performance analysis and improvements within areas of responsibilityAssisting other shift members by performing normal operator dutiesPacking containers, material handling, coordination of chemical transfers from vessel to vessel through filtration processesMaintaining technical databases, as requested, by Lead Operators and/or Production ManagementReviewing shift notes and providing detailed information of production status during shift turnovers for assigned areasProviding on-the-job training to Chemical Operator I classification, as requested, by Production ManagementPhysical Attributes:Work at times in extreme climates (high/low temperatures and humidity)Climb stairs, ladders and walk long distances during the workdayMove and handle heavy objects with appropriate equipmentWill have participate in annual physicals associated with material handling and PPE usageWho You Are:Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED4+ years of manufacturing process experience1+ years of experience operating a forklift.1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word Preferred Qualifications:A solid understanding and application of basic math skillsAssociate degree with background in chemical a manufacturing environmentLeadership experience in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environmentTechnical knowledge and HMI experience in a chemical manufacturing environmentStatistical Process Control experienceCPR and First Aid certificationExposure to Lean Six Sigma and ISO certification.
