DSH-Napa currently has a vacancy for a Chief Engineer II (CE II) in the Plant Operations Department. Under direction, the CE II supervises the operation, maintenance, and repair of the heating, ventilating, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems, auxiliary electrical plants and other mechanical and power equipment in a group of State Buildings or large institution; and, to do other related work. The CE II supervises the operation and maintenance of Hospital's Utilities including , Refrigeration Systems, Electrical Distribution, Emergency Generator Systems, Steam Production, Steam Distribution System, Elevators, Nurses calls, Fuel Oil, HVAC, Oxygen and Medical Vacuum. The CE II also oversees supervision of the Machine Shop, Central Plant.

Staff is dedicated and committed to delivering high quality, cost-effective, professional services and specialized programs in an environment that promotes continuous improvements in treatment for individuals with mental disabilities.
