Bachelor's degree. A State of Florida Professional Engineer license, State of Florida Registered Architect license, certificate issued by State of Florida or Miami-Dade County as a General Contractor's, General Building Contractor or General Engineering Contractor's, or Certificate of Eligibility in General Engineering or General Building may substitute for the required education. A minimum of five years of professional and supervisory experience in the management of a large transportation/public sector maintenance and/or construction activities is required.
