A healthcare organization is looking for aChief Strategy Officer to join their team in New York City, Boston, or Remote.

Compensation: $150-250k

Responsibilities:
  • Advances, leads, and manages all components of the organization's long-range system strategic plan.
  • Effectively translates short-term and long-term strategies into actionable and quantitative plans for hospitals and business units.
  • Evaluates and executes all approved strategic initiatives and partnerships, including transactions.
  • Lead a unified Marketing and Communications strategy for the system, ensuring the execution of strategy to enhance Communications for organization.
  • Identifies and evaluates new strategic relationships and business models to support growth and business development.
  • Brings national best practices and innovative business models, both within and outside of health care, and incorporates best practices into the strategic planning and new business structure.
  • Monitors and communicates market and environmental trends that inform strategy development.
  • Develops and drives the organization's growth strategy.
  • Actively engages org system leadership, hospital and clinical unit leadership to ensure ongoing alignment with core strategic priorities and initiatives.
  • Oversees a talented team of strategic planning and business development professionals.
  • Reports on success metrics, oversees process to prioritize key initiatives, tracks and communicates progress of org performance against its long-range strategic plan.
  • Oversees quantitative and qualitative analysis to support core strategic priorities, in conjunction with Finance.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, healthcare management, public health, or other discipline related to the duties of the position is preferred.
  • At least ten years of progressive leadership experience with a successful track record in management of complex change initiatives in a healthcare environment is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Healthcare markets, competitors, industry trends and products methods with a focus on high-priority growth markets
  • Experience in M&A, executing strategy initiatives, creating business cases, initiative planning and project management
  • Strategic and visionary leadership skills with initiative, emotional intelligence and interpersonal capabilities to achieve transformative change.
  • Ability to manage consensus/conflict at various levels and cultivate strategic internal relationships across the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to drive outcomes.
  • Exhibit strong collaboration skills and ability to engage across multiple functions, business units and geographies
  • Ability to influence and negotiate without formal direct authority, consultative in approach
  • Ability in attracting and hiring top talent, inspiring a team, delegating tasks efficiently, fostering diversity and proficiently managing performance; recognized as a strong developer of others
