Insight Global is looking for a Civil Engineer to work for an industry-leading renewable energy company in Irvine, CA. This candidate will be developing site civil engineering plans, reports, and specifications for SOFC (Solid Oxide Fuel Cell) facilities and various utility projects. This individual will be responsible for reviewing design criteria, drawings, and specifications while collaborating with engineers to ensure compliance with engineering standards. Experience with evaluating hydrology and hydraulics for site drainage improvements is required for the right candidate to succeed in this role. This position requires you to be onsite in Irvine, CA 4 days a week.

Required Skills & Experience

BA Degree in Civil Engineering
Civil Engineer PE License in CA
5+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer working on fuel cells, solar, power generation, gas, or facilities
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM360
Experience reviewing permitting, design, and construction documents.
Experience evaluating hydrology and hydraulics for site drainage improvements
