Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer to be based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Support activities related to the FEMA National Flood Insurance (NFIP) and Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning (Risk MAP) Programs.
- Assist with activities related to Coordinated Needs Management Strategy (CNMS) data and the validation assessment of flood hazard data.
- Complete new hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analyses.
- Builds analytic skills.
- Conducts engineering under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Creates calculations, guidance, and processes under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ArcMap and ArcPro experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Experience with H&H modeling
- Experience with the FEMA NFIP and Risk MAP Programs
- Experience with FEMA CNMS
Additional Information
- Relocation is not available for this position.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $55,000.00 - $75,000.00.
