Insight Global is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join their growing team in the Kansas City, MO area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engineering activities including project management, design direction, preparation of all project deliverables, quality control review, client communication. Additional responsibilities include:
Reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance
Serves as a technical specialist in the application of advanced concepts, principles, and methods in an assigned area
Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs or applications
Assists Project Manager and staff as a technical specialist or advisor
Interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates assignments
Assigns tasks to engineers, technicians, and administrative staff
Plans, schedules, or coordinates the preparation of project documents
Prepares and reviews and approves scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments
Prepares proposals to provide professional services or obtain funding for engineering projects or programs
Reviews operational procedures to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures
Routinely interacts with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others
Leads project meetings and makes presentations
Represents the organization and maintains liaison with individuals and related organizations

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
3-5yrs+ of professional experience
Experience with site development, civil 3D, autocad
Experience working on transportation, stormwater, watermain/waterline projects
Excellent organizational, managerial, and communication skills. More on the production, imaging, and design side
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plus Qualifications:
Microstation (state DOT requires this)
ArcGIS
MODOT or roadway experience
EIT or PE
member of professional or technical society
ASCE, ACEC, MSPE
