Claims Service Rep Cyber Company HSB Location Hartford , United States

Location Negotiable.

Reporting to the Director of Cyber Claims, this position is primarily responsible for managing complex first party commercial cyber claims, including active ransomware, data breaches and social engineering. The Cyber Claims Service Representative will coordinate and manage the team of incident response vendors to assist the insured in effectively mitigating and resolving the incident. As a customer-facing position, the Cyber Claims Service Representative is hugely focused on delivering high-quality service consistent with established claims management standards. Independent and creative problem solving is essential along with the ability to work in a team environment. Key responsibilities include prompt contact, investigation relative to the cause of loss, assessment of coverage applicability and availability, and achievement of the most efficient, cost-effective resolution.

Required:
College Degree or high school diploma with equivalent work experience
Previous work experience (2+ years) in claims adjusting with a proven track record of investigating complex losses. Adjuster licensing as required by state.
Good working knowledge of PC's (Microsoft 365)
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle high volume of work.
Good organizational skills and ability to function effectively in a team environment and be self-motivated.
Some travel may be required

Desired:
College degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business with completion of insurance course work
1+ years of Cyber adjusting experience
Working knowledge of IT equipment and infrastructure
CPCU designation
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Guidewire.
Experience in a customer facing role, financial, or service oriented position.
