PTG Logistics is an asset-based carrier and we've been in business for more than 25 years with offices and operations across the United States. We service a wide range of industries-from steel and building supplies to bread and ice cream-with great drivers and great equipment. Our company is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Dedicated Regional Driver CDL Class A in our Kirkwood, NY location. The Driver will serve to support our transportation and logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to)

• Transport finished goods and or raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations immediately

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Meet PTG's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Lift and move products and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
• No more than 2 Moving Violations in the past 3 years.
• No DUIs in the past 5 years.
• Must be able to get a minimum of 1-year Medical Certificate.
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, XRS, etc.).

The position offers:

0.50 cents per mile. Average weekly miles 2000 to 2500 miles.

• Staring Pay is 50 Cents Per Mile

• $20.00 Per Stop Pay
• $25.00 Layover Pay
• $65,000-$110,000 Yearly
