Position Summary/Objective:
The Floater Class A Truck Driver plays a vital role in ensuring the company's continued success. This position requires a person to be dependable, focused on safety and requires a person be flexible and cooperative. The Floater CDL Driver should have all the skills of a CDL Driver and possess the ability to perform a variety of functions at different accounts as needed. The Floater Driver agrees to serve at a variety of different accounts, performing a variety of duties that may change with short notice. The Floater Class A Truck Driver should be focused on safety at all times while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Essential Floater Driver Functions:
  • Drivers to obtain endorsements, Tankers, TWIC and doubles, by passing background checks.
  • Be flexible and willing to accommodate changing start times as required by different customers while maintaining proper HOS and DOT regulations such as required time off and HOS resets.
  • Maintain expected levels of Safety scores and Idelic ratings.
  • Remain accident and injury free from all incidents deemed preventable. ? Fully trained on accident and injury reporting for TCI.
  • Responsibly handle all paperwork, such as Bills of Lading, etc., and acquire signatures as needed by the customer.
  • Professionally communicate with all account managers and/or customers to ensure work is done according to the customer's desires and expectations.
  • Spot check equipment after it's been used to ensure that there has been no damage.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Min. 12- 18 months of recent Class A experience
-Class A Experience must be verifiable
-All applicants subject to safety insurability criteria
