Description: The CLC Data Entry Clerk supports the Consumer Loan Center through the input of consumer loans with a high degree of accuracy. The role supports a primary function within the bank. The Consumer Loan Center is a high production environment. The role requires both speed and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Entry of loan application information into the loan origination software with a high degree of accuracy.

• Responsible for following established procedures and policies.

• Responsible to ensure customer information is always secure.

• Will have responsibility for receiving inbound phone inquiries from internal and external customers.

• Ensure that services are delivered professionally and efficiently.

Competencies Required:

• Require proficiency assessment for typing of 50 - 80 words per minute with 98% accuracy.

• Solid technology abilities, i.e., ability to learn multiple banking systems, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to perform required work assignments in a production environment to be able to meet or exceed expected service level standards.

• Strong listening and communication skills (written and verbal).

• Strong attention to detail and concern for data accuracy; ability to read and interpret credit related documentation.

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, diplomacy and tact.

• Ability to function in a team environment as a proven team player.

• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

• Flexibility to adapt to change within the department and organization.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• 1-3 years of general office experience.

Formal Education & Certification:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Work Status:

• Full-Time.

Supervisory Responsibility:

• None.

Travel:

• Negligible amount of travel expected.

Working Conditions:

• Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
