Clean Team Supervisor, Phoenix Park n' Swap

The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Phoenix Park n' Swap in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing repairs, maintenance, upkeep and replacement of the facility mechanical, cosmetic, and operational equipment and structure.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing the daily clean-up process of the facility
• Supervise clean-up personnel both during and post operations
• Ensure selling lot, parking lot and bathrooms are clean and ready for each day of operations
• Ensure the Ticket Office and Concessions Office are cleaned and stocked with essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc)
• Ensure staffing and supervision of weather clean up (rain/monsoon) as needed
• Create schedule for clean-up personnel
• Complete associate counselings as needed
• Communicate with management regarding all areas of clean-up operation
• Advise management of potential hazards
• Responsible for assisting with day-to-day maintenance projects.
• Operate company vehicles including a forklift and sweeper truck.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Five years of experience doing basic maintenance required
• Able to work Wednesdays from 4pm - 2am, Saturday and Sunday from 6am - 8pm
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Fluent in both English and Spanish
• Must be licensed to operate forklift
• Ability to operate a sweeper truck
• Excellent customer service, communication, leadership, team building and organizational skills
• Some skill with plumbing, painting, landscaping and general repair

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to safely operate gas/electric carts
• Requires bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, squatting, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
• Standing and walking 100% of the time.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions including extreme heat.
• Working with and around chemicals needed for cleaning purposes.
