Correlates clinical education with didactic education. Evaluates students. Participates in didactic and clinical instruction. Supports the program director to help assure effective program operation. Coordinates clinical education and evaluates effectiveness. Participates in the assessment process. Cooperates with the program director in periodic review and revision of clinical course materials. Maintain current knowledge of the discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development. Maintains current knowledge of program policies, procedures and student progress. Supervises clinical education of students. Counsels students in clinical setting.
This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, older adult, frail elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Education/Training/Experience: (indicate if required or preferred)
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts required as of January 2010.
Completion of a formal program of study accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology required.
Two years clinical experience required.
One year experience as an instructor required.
Licenses/Certifications: (indicate if required or preferred)
Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) required.
CPR certification and re-certification on an annual basis required.
