Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director or the Office Manager, the Clinical Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the clinical operations within the ambulatory practice. This role involves tasks such as managing schedules, organizing patient care activities, collaborating with healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with polices and regulations, and facilitating communication between different divisions. The clinical coordinator will also play a role in staff training, quality improvement initiatives, and maintaining accurate patient records. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential to this position.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA or equivalent) or NJ LPN License; Must hold current or obtain within three (3) months of hire
  • 3-5 years of experience in ambulatory setting (emergency room, clinic or health center).
  • Higher education may be substituted for experience

Preferred Job Requirements:
  • CPR Certification preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or other language
  • Previous supervisory experience in an acute/outpatient setting
