• Winter Park Memorial Hospital has continuously served the residents of Winter Park and its surrounding communities for more than 50 years

• Chartered in 1951, the hospital has grown from the visionary efforts of a handful of Winter Park residents and community leaders to a 307-bed acute care facility that is a model of community health and wellness

• Over the years the hospital has continually expanded to meet the needs of the community, adding an upscale obstetrics and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The Dr. P. Phillips Baby Place, cancer care at the AdventHealth Cancer Institute, Winter Park, and state-of-the-art surgery, recovery, and rehabilitation at the AdventHealth Orthopedic Institute

The role you'll contribute:

Under the direction of the leadership team, the Clinical Coordinator/Project Manager will provide project coordination and support with strong emotional intelligence to help meet departmental, organizational and system goals. This role is responsible for initiating, defining, planning, documenting, coordinating, and implementing the execution of all activities within the lifecycle of the project for high priority clinical quality and safety initiatives.

The Clinical Coordinator/Project Manager will utilize clinical expertise to coordinate patient care episodes across the care continuum, identify instances of clinical variability, and make appropriate inferences of clinical outcomes to support initiatives around evidence-based practice.

The Clinical Coordinator/Project Manager will serve as a clinical content expert on local, state and federal regulations and monitor compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies' standards and requirements. This role will foster a sustainable culture using the ISO 9001 quality management system ensuring effective measurement and monitoring of systems and processes.

• Deadline and detail-oriented with commitment to produce deliverables through the project lifecycle within defined time constraints.

• Works to identify, assess, manage, and minimize risks to successful project completion, notifying appropriate stakeholders when issues arise and taking appropriate action. Develops and maintains positive relationships with all stakeholders, cross-functional team members and vendors.

• Coordinates utilization of resources to deliver quality of care in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Supports proper inventory control processes as defined by department leadership.

• Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice in the delivery of nursing services.

• Monitors and assesses staffing scheduling processes for improvement. Works to manage processes with agency/travelers and contractual agreements which commits budgetary resources.

• Coordinates Leader Visit on Patients as needed to provide feedback to nursing staff that includes coaching and guidance to improve patient safety and quality outcomes.

• Serves as a resource to the Education Team, as a liaison to the Emergency Services Regulatory Specialist, and a subject matter expert on Sepsis.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

• Bachelor's in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or other healthcare related discipline

• 3+ years experience of Acute Care experience

• Current valid State of Florida or Multi State license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred qualifications:

• 5+ years of Acute Care experience

• Masters degree

• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

• Change Management Certification

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
