Summary:
The Clinical Education /Simulation Training Specialist has a thorough knowledge of clinical practice, principles of Adult Education, policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include frequent interactions with management and staff. Autonomy and leadership functions are inherent to this position. The Clinical Education/Simulation Training Specialist provides strategically aligned education/training to achieve outcomes consistent with Broward Health orientation, training, competence and performance goals.

Education:

Essential:
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing, MSN Preferred.

Eligible for ASN program (BSN degree required) or BSN program (MSN required) adjunct clinical faculty appointment with local nursing academic partners.

Experience:

Computer literacy and electronic documentation skills required.

Essential:
* Three years of acute care clinical experience. Two years human resource training/education experience preferred.

Credentials:
* Registered Nurse
* Basic Life Support
